The Tower Above the Leyline
Read Aloud
Brass platforms turn above the tower’s open shaft as lightning snaps through the windows and false doors swing open onto empty air. The Sigil of Wood burns on the central pedestal, while a black-robed inquisitor raises one hand and the wards begin measuring the magic clinging to each of you. Cross the shifting platforms, seize the Sigil, and stop the Tribunal before the tower tears itself apart.

Rotating Platforms
Brass platforms turn above the open shaft; each platform is 25 feet wide, with gaps of 10 to 20 feet.
2
Broken Stair Ring
Broken stair fragments hang along the tower wall, offering half cover but no safe route; lightning arcs between the fragments.
3
Sigil Dais
The pedestal stands on a fixed stone dais beneath the open roof; three false doors circle the dais.
Terrain Levers
- Rotate a brass platform 90 degrees as an action, changing lines of sight and forcing creatures on it to make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw or slide 10 feet.
- A creature can press a rune-inscribed wall to ground one lightning window until the start of its next turn.
- A false door opens onto empty air; spotting the real exit requires a DC 16 Intelligence (Investigation) check.
- The central pedestal holding the Sigil of Wood pulses at initiative count 20, shedding bright green light in a 15-foot radius.
