Recover the Bone Sample Before the Crabs Drag It Over the Cliff

The bone cart jolts as three giant crabs haul themselves from the pink mud, their shells packed with finger bones and strips of hide. One crab snaps through the cart's wheel while another claws toward the sealed sample. The cliff path is behind you, and the mud is already sliding toward the edge.

Bonecutters' Shelf
A 25-foot shelf beside the old bone-cutters' track. The abandoned cart holds the party's target and can be shoved downhill.

Pink Mud
A 25-foot strip of pink mud between the shelf and the cliff edge. It is difficult terrain and slick with blood.

Shell Ledge
A 25-foot ledge under the cliff face. Bone shells jut from the wall, giving half cover to creatures pressed against them.
Terrain Levers
- Kick loose bone piles downhill to create difficult terrain and force a DC 12 Dexterity save or fall prone.
- Cut the old hoist rope to drop the bone cart, blocking the center zone.
- Smear the cliff grease across a slope: the next creature to Dash there must succeed on a DC 12 Dexterity save or slide 15 feet.],
