Unstable Merchant's Awning
A heavy, water-logged canvas awning is laden with discarded bricks, loose tiles, and city grime. The supporting ropes are frayed and the wooden frame is rotting, ready to collapse at the slightest vibration or weight.

Detection
“A once-vibrant striped fabric canopy hangs precariously over a narrow alleyway. It bows deeply in the center, collecting a pool of stagnant water and urban debris that groans under its own weight.”
Standard Engagement
A creature moves into the 10-foot by 10-foot area beneath the awning or onto the roof surface directly above it.
None
The awning must be physically reattached to the wall and the debris cleared or replaced, which takes at least 1 hour of work.
The awning and its heavy contents fall in a 10-foot square area. Any creature in the area must attempt a DC 21 Reflex save. On a Failure: The creature takes 3d10+10 bludgeoning damage and is knocked Prone. On a Critical Failure: The creature takes double damage, is knocked Prone, and is Grabbed by the heavy canvas (Escape DC 19). On a Success: The creature takes half damage. On a Critical Success: The creature takes no damage and can move 5 feet to an unoccupied space outside the area as a reaction.
The area beneath the awning becomes Difficult Terrain once the hazard has triggered due to the fallen canvas and rubble.
