The tale
The skeletons collapse across the dungeon passage, leaving behind rusted scraps and the weapons they carried. Most of their gear is too corroded to be worth salvaging, but one shortsword, a damaged bow, and a few arrows remain usable. The warhorse skeleton bears no armor or saddle, only a small iron key tangled among its ribs. A purse and cloudy garnet lie near the bones, as if dropped by someone who fell here long before the undead stirred.
