Mira Qhapa
Alchemical herbalist
Mira Qhapa
Species
Tiefling
Appearance
Mira is a slim tiefling whose presence seems to occupy more room than her body does. She leans forward when listening, her horns angled like dark question marks, while her long tail continually tests the space behind her for stools, shelves, and ankles. Her skin carries the muted red-brown tone of dried clay after rain, dusted with fine golden flecks around her knuckles like pollen caught beneath the skin. Her fingertips remain stained blue, black, and medicinal green. Mismatched spectacles sit across her nose, one lens round and thick, the other narrow and hexagonal, both bound by brass wire repaired so often it resembles a braid. She moves with quiet, economical precision until excitement takes her, when her tail sweeps cups and elbows aside. Beneath bitter herbs, damp paper, and stove smoke, she smells unexpectedly clean, like freshly peeled pear.
“Her voice is low, quick, and dryly musical. She speaks in clipped observations when working, then becomes unexpectedly lyrical when describing plants, weather, or the first signs of recovery.”

Distinguishing Features
Question-mark-shaped black horns that angle toward whoever has her attention.
Golden pollen-like flecks beneath the skin around her knuckles.
Mismatched spectacles bound with repeatedly repaired braided brass wire.
A long tail that tests the room behind her and becomes unnaturally still when she detects deception.
An unexpectedly sweet scent of freshly peeled pear beneath herbs and smoke.
Voice
“A low contralto with a dry, persuasive warmth, often softened by a half-whisper when she is measuring a patient's breathing.”
Clothing
A soot-dark linen work coat patched with copper thread, a moss-green waistcoat, sturdy trousers tucked into soft leather boots, and a weathered specimen satchel secured by a polished strap. Tiny brass tags hang from her belt, each stamped with a plant name in cramped lettering.
Body Language
Mira leans toward people as though drawing their words through a funnel. Her horns tilt with her attention, her thumb rubs the satchel strap, and her eyes track hands, exits, and unattended containers before settling on a speaker's face.
