Appearance
Captain Niko is a compact squirrel beast-person with a russet coat that lies sleek along her arms and stands in a soft, unruly ruff around her neck. Her enormous plume of a tail is carefully braided near its tip with a strip of faded blue signal cloth. She moves with a quick, precise economy, then goes perfectly still when listening. She smells faintly of cedar shavings, lamp oil, and toasted nuts, an aroma she notices only when someone else mentions it. Her small, blunt muzzle and bright eyes give her a deceptively approachable look; her voice, when rattled, becomes so low and even that the fort falls silent to hear it.
