Maro Quispe
Sorcerer
Maro Quispe
Species
Human
Appearance
A tall, hooded human man who walks with the slow, deliberate rhythm of someone crossing a frozen lake. His silver robes are sleek rather than ceremonial, made from layered fabric that catches light like brushed metal. A prominent purple eye is embroidered across his chest, its iris formed from tiny concentric stitches that seem to shift when he moves. His smooth silver mask has no mouth, nose, or visible seam, yet it reflects nearby faces with unsettling clarity. His gloved hands hang naturally at his sides, relaxed and almost gentle. Unexpectedly, his movements are not cold or mechanical. He has a habit of pausing to make way for beetles, fallen leaves, and frightened children, as though each possesses an urgent claim upon his attention.
“His voice is soft, low, and unhurried, with a rounded highland cadence. It sounds as though it comes from a nearby room even when he stands close.”

Distinguishing Features
A completely smooth silver mask with no facial features, which reflects nearby faces as if they were painted on its surface
A purple eye insignia that faintly pulses whenever someone nearby speaks a deliberate lie
A thin crescent scar beneath his left ear, one of the few parts of his face visible below the mask
Robes that make almost no sound, even when he walks across gravel
A faint scent of rain on hot stone and old copper surrounding him
Voice
“A low, velvet-soft voice with a gentle Andean lilt, careful consonants, and a faint resonance like words spoken inside a bell.”
Clothing
A deep hood frames the featureless silver mask. His robes combine close-fitted silver-gray layers with violet inner lining, reinforced seams, hidden pockets, and a high collar marked by the purple eye insignia. Soft black gloves cover his hands, each fingertip sewn with a thin thread of conductive silver.
Body Language
Maro stands very still while others speak, his head angled slightly as if listening through water. He turns his whole body rather than merely his head, and his gloved fingers occasionally press against the purple eye on his chest when he is worried. In danger, his posture becomes unexpectedly protective, placing himself between threats and the nearest frightened person.
