Blood Hunter, Order of the Ghostslayer with custom serpent rites

Qorazuli Meskheva

Level 6·Male·Medium
Lawful Neutral

Species

Undead

Appearance

Qorazuli appears as a tall, carefully preserved corpse whose movements are too deliberate to be mistaken for life. His skin has the dry texture of fired clay, stretched smooth over a powerful frame and veined with faint green lines that brighten whenever he invokes his blood rites. He stands with his weight balanced on the balls of his feet, as if perpetually poised to follow a striking serpent, yet he never seems hurried. His long hands are immaculate except for dark crimson staining beneath the nails. A necklace of polished vertebrae rests over his sternum, and each bone clicks softly when he turns. The unexpected contradiction is his smile: warm, patient, and almost paternal, even while his jaw hangs a fraction too loosely and his breath comes as a dry whisper through an empty chest.

Height6 feet 4 inches
BuildLean, broad-shouldered, and tightly muscled, with the compact strength of a wrestler rather than a soldier
EyesDeep amber with narrow vertical pupils that contract even in darkness
HairBlack hair threaded with silver, worn in long braided cords stiffened with resin and copper rings
SkinOchre-brown like sunbaked clay, with fine green veins visible at the throat, wrists, and temples

A low, careful baritone with a faint rasp beneath every word. He breathes between sentences as though air must be remembered rather than used.”

Distinguishing Features

His breath is audible despite his undead nature, sounding like wind through a clay flute.

He keeps his weight on the balls of his feet and never fully relaxes his knees.

The vertebrae necklace clicks in patterns that resemble coded speech.

His smile is reassuring at first glance, but it never changes when he is furious.

He leaves faint, damp green footprints on stone despite having no visible source of moisture.

Voice

A patient, low baritone with a dry undertone, like a temple bell heard through sand.

Clothing

A sleeveless indigo funerary coat wrapped over layered linen, bronze scale panels sewn beneath the ribs, red cords wound around both forearms, and soft leather sandals fitted with bronze toe caps. His clothing is meticulously repaired but visibly ancient.

Body Language

When waiting, he rests one heel lightly against the stone and keeps the other foot angled toward the chamber door. He tilts his head in small, birdlike increments when listening. When rattled, his dry breathing stops entirely, and the green veins in his neck brighten before he speaks.
