Ketev
Legendary Arbiter
Ketev
Species
Construct
Appearance
Ketev resembles a tall, jointed figure cast from living bronze, though its surface has the warm irregularities of hammered metal rather than the flawless polish of a statue. Thin seams of blue-white light pulse beneath its plates whenever it speaks. Its face is narrow and almost human, with a blunt nose, a split lower lip, and no visible pupils. A mane of black, fibrous material hangs from the back of its skull like wet horsehair, yet it moves upward in still air as if submerged. Ketev walks with measured, noiseless precision, but when angered its body begins to click and ring like a distant forge. The unexpected softness of its hands, warm and faintly callused, makes its touch more unsettling than its armor.
“Ketev speaks with a low, resonant voice that seems to come from the floor beneath the listener. Its words are deliberate and formal, but moments of genuine feeling produce a faint rasp, as though an older voice is speaking beneath its own.”

Distinguishing Features
A vertical crack runs from Ketev's left temple to its collarbone, glowing brighter when it uses legendary actions.
Its shadow sometimes points toward the nearest person who has broken a promise, regardless of the light source.
Its right hand bears seven tiny engraved rings that turn independently when it calculates.
Its voice causes loose coins, buckles, and cutlery to vibrate in sympathy.
Voice
“Low, resonant, formal, and layered with the faint rasp of a second voice beneath the first.”
Clothing
A sleeveless charcoal robe hangs beneath its armor, stitched with faded legal formulae in three dead alphabets. A heavy blue sash crosses its chest and carries seals, keys, and fragments of broken wax. Its feet are wrapped in pale linen despite being made of metal.
Body Language
Ketev holds itself perfectly upright when judging others, but leans slightly toward anyone who speaks about grief, children, or failed promises. Its fingers tap in sequences of three when calculating. Before attacking, it lowers its chin and opens both hands, resembling a magistrate receiving testimony.
