Svesha Ruden
Sorcerer
Svesha Ruden
Species
Tiefling
Appearance
Svesha is a slender, wiry young tiefling woman with smooth black skin carrying a subtle red undertone, as though banked coals glow beneath polished obsidian. Her face is narrow and elegant, with red lips, warm blushing cheeks, and large blood-red eyes flecked with copper. Two very short black conical horns rise from her forehead, almost hidden by uneven wisps of cropped black hair. Her pointed, catlike ears swivel toward every sound. Tiny white fangs show when she grins. She stands with playful upright poise and cocks her head in an inviting, almost theatrical manner, but her movements are too precise and economical for a carefree flirt. Her hands are clean and quick, with long fingers that constantly measure invisible angles in the air. The unexpected contradiction is that her expressive face and mischievous smile conceal an intensely watchful, exhausted person who sleeps sitting up whenever she feels unsafe.
“Her voice is low, breathy, and sibilant, with soft hisses on s and sh sounds. She speaks quickly when improvising and slowly when trying to frighten someone.”

Distinguishing Features
Two unusually short black horns with fine silver scratches near their bases.
Copper flecks in her red irises that brighten when she casts magic.
A narrow burn scar across the left palm, usually hidden by her wand grip.
A silver-grey bracelet containing a tiny concealed compartment.
Her smile reveals two small, clean white fangs.
Her purple duster never appears to have pockets, yet she repeatedly produces coins, chalk, thread, and impossible little objects from it.
Voice
“A warm contralto with a smoky edge, soft enough to invite listeners closer and sharp enough to make them regret it. When she casts, a second whisper sometimes echoes half a heartbeat after her words.”
Clothing
A cream blouse with rolled sleeves, charcoal trousers, polished leather ankle boots, and a vibrant purple duster with no visible pockets. The duster is lined in faded crimson silk and hangs beautifully when she spins. A silver-grey bracelet circles her left wrist, and she wears only one simple silver ring. She carries a plain thin wooden wand etched with abstract lines.
Body Language
She holds herself like a performer waiting for a cue, shoulders relaxed and chin slightly lifted. Her tail, when visible, makes small punctuation marks behind her. When lying, she becomes perfectly still. When genuinely afraid, she smiles and rubs her silver bracelet with her thumb.
