Thaloric Veyn-Meer
Ranger (Beast Master) / Occasional Hedge Dabbler (Ritualist)
Thaloric Veyn-Meer
Species
Half-Elf (river-kin heritage)
Appearance
Thaloric moves like water remembering its banks: a long-limbed figure who slips through crowds and reeds with economy of motion. His clothes are always damp at the hems, and his leather dinghy coat smells faintly of brine and bay leaf. On his left forearm is a faded tattoo of a tide-clock — concentric rings with notches for moon phases — partially obscured by pale scars. He keeps one boot perpetually untied (a superstition he inherited), which causes him to stoop slightly when standing still. When the wind catches him he smiles the way someone remembers a long-lost song: slow, private, and unsettlingly raw. Unexpectedly, he wears a child's carnival ribbon braided into his beard — crimson, frayed, and absurd against his otherwise practical look, a token he never explains.
“Measured, with a low gravel undercut. He uses nautical metaphors, pauses as if choosing notes in a song, and occasionally inserts elven softeners (a vowel glide).”
