Tupa Quispe
Fighter, Battle Master
Tupa Quispe
Species
Human
Appearance
Tupa is a broad-shouldered human man with the compact strength of someone who has hauled rope, stone, and frightened people up mountain paths for most of his life. He walks with his left heel slightly raised, not from injury but from a lifetime of testing loose ground before trusting it. His dark hair is cut close at the sides and kept in a thick, uneven braid behind his right ear, threaded with red wool and tiny copper washers. His hands are square, weather-cracked, and permanently stained with blue mineral dust. He studies every doorway, roofline, and stair before entering, yet he laughs easily and stands too close to strangers when speaking. The contradiction is immediate: he looks like a stern border sentry, but wears a child's yellow mitten tied to his belt and handles it with reverence.
“His voice is low, dry, and deliberate, with a mountain trader's clipped rhythm. He pauses before names and places as if weighing them.”

Distinguishing Features
A blue mineral stain runs beneath his fingernails and never fully washes away.
He walks with his left heel slightly raised, testing the ground before committing his weight.
A child's yellow mitten hangs from his belt beside military-grade climbing gear.
His right-ear braid contains copper washers that click softly when he turns his head.
He instinctively touches walls and railings while speaking, as though listening through stone.
Voice
“A low baritone roughened by cold air, with a dry warmth beneath it. His laughter is sudden and surprisingly bright, while his commands become quieter the more dangerous the situation gets.”
Clothing
A patched charcoal wool coat hangs unevenly from his shoulders, reinforced with boiled leather at the elbows. Under it he wears a rust-red sash filled with chalk, waxed cord, and folded route maps. One glove is expensive goatskin and carefully oiled, while the other is a cheap knitted mitten repaired with yellow thread. His boots are wrapped in strips of faded blue cloth to improve grip on ice.
Body Language
Tupa leans slightly toward danger and away from comfort. He rests two fingers against walls, tables, and doorframes as if feeling for movement beneath them. When listening, he keeps his chin lowered but never stops watching the speaker's hands. His smile arrives suddenly, then remains half a second too long.
