Wara Quispe
Sorcerer, Ancestral Soul origin
Wara Quispe
Species
Beast-man, vicuna-descended humanoid
Appearance
Wara is a broad-shouldered vicuna-like beast-man with a long neck, soft muzzle, and unusually careful hands. His cinnamon-brown coat is dense around the shoulders and thin along the forearms from years spent rubbing stone tablets clean with oil and ash. Fine silver hairs gather at his jaw and down the ridge of his spine, not from age alone but from repeated contact with ancestral magic. He moves with a quiet, deliberate sway, placing each hoof-like foot as though crossing a sleeping person's floor. The unexpected contradiction is his delicate, almost scholarly appearance paired with a deep chest and powerful forearms capable of hauling open a sealed city gate. People often notice that he smells faintly of warm wool, rain on dust, and crushed mint.
“His voice is low, warm, and breathy, with a careful rhythm that makes ordinary remarks sound ceremonial. He pronounces names with exceptional clarity and lowers his voice when speaking of the dead.”

Distinguishing Features
A pale crescent of fur grows beneath his lower lip like a small beard, though the rest of his muzzle is clean.
His left ear is marked by a natural spiral of darker fur that resembles a fingerprint.
He carries himself with a patient side-to-side sway, as though hearing music no one else can detect.
When he invokes ancestral magic, faint golden footprints appear behind him and vanish after seven steps.
His hands are unusually soft despite his strength, stained permanently with gray shrine dust.
Voice
“A mellow baritone with a faint wool-soft rasp, gentle enough to invite confidence and resonant enough to fill a shrine without effort”
Clothing
A sleeveless indigo wool mantle fastened with a bone clasp, layered over a cream tunic embroidered with tiny household symbols. His belt carries clay name tablets, a leather tea pouch, and strips of red thread tied for the dead. His lower legs are wrapped in patterned cloth and soft travel guards rather than metal armor.
Body Language
Wara keeps his shoulders relaxed and his hands folded over the top of his staff. His ears tilt toward every new sound, often before his head moves. When angry, he becomes unnervingly still, with only the slow flexing of his fingers revealing the emotion. When grieving, he rocks subtly from heel to toe like a person keeping time with a distant song.
