Appearance
Tavik is compact even for a Gutterglint, with a soft, broad face that seems perpetually on the verge of a smile. His whiskers fan forward when he listens and droop like damp thread when he is tired. He walks with a quick, side-to-side patter, yet can become so still while listening that passersby mistake him for a carved shop figure. His blunt front teeth show whenever he eats; he chews with the tidy concentration of a clerk sorting coins, then laughs with his whole jaw. Unexpectedly, his hands are immaculate despite his work in drains and market gutters.
