Grusk Nailbreaker is broad shouldered and heavily scarred, with the compact power of someone who has spent more time bracing against prison doors than swaggering through taverns. His skin is a weathered moss green, his lower tusks capped with copper bands that dent the inside of his lip when he grits his teeth, and his black hair is shaved tight at the sides while the top is braided into a short, oily ridge tied off with a strip of red cloth. He moves with a careful, listening tread, as if every floorboard might betray him, yet he wears a ridiculous little silver jail key on a chain around his neck like a keepsake. The contradiction makes him look half intimidating sentinel and half anxious altar boy, which is exactly how he likes it.
