Nemeia Okochi
Species
Human
Appearance
Nemeia Okochi is very short, standing just under five feet, with a round face, large observant eyes, thick lips, and a delicate, narrow frame that gives way to strikingly full hips and shoulders. Her shoulder-length black curls are dense and springy, with several strands permanently silvered by a magical accident. She moves with compact, dancer-like precision, never seeming to hurry even when crossing a battlefield. Her skin has a deep warm-brown tone with golden undertones, and faint copper freckles gather across her nose and collarbones. She leaves the impression of a small woman carrying an enormous, carefully folded storm inside herself. The contradiction is that her glamorous, body-hugging attire makes her look theatrical, while her hands are scarred, ink-stained, and visibly accustomed to hard labor.
“Her voice is low, clear, and lightly husky, with carefully chosen words and a musical rhythm that rises at the end of warnings. She speaks quickly when discussing magic and very slowly when discussing grief.”

Distinguishing Features
Several curls are permanently silver from the academy breach.
A thin crescent scar circles her left wrist, glowing faintly when extraplanar creatures are nearby.
Her right canine tooth is capped with a tiny piece of blue glass.
Copper freckles across her collarbones form a pattern resembling a river delta.
She smells faintly of rain on stone, even in dry weather.
Voice
“Low, clear, lightly husky, and musical, with a precise cadence that becomes almost whisper-soft when she is angry.”
Clothing
A skin-tight indigo spellweave bodysuit reinforced with flexible leather panels, copper stitching, and tiny ceramic plates over the ribs. A high collar frames her face, while a split overskirt of translucent black fabric gives her movement without concealing the practical boots beneath. Her belt carries scroll tubes, chalk, lockpicks, and a folded red scarf that belonged to her mentor.
Body Language
She keeps her elbows close to her body and turns her whole torso toward whoever is speaking. When thinking, she presses her thumb against the first knuckle of each finger in sequence. Her stillness is deliberate, but her curls betray her mood by lifting slightly whenever magic is near.
