Kael Vorr stands 6 foot 8 and looks as though a storm tried to carve a person out of a quarry wall and mostly succeeded. His black mohawk is thick, upright, and threaded through with a few pale silver strands that seem to have appeared overnight after the lightning strikes. His bright purple eyes do not simply glow, they seem to reflect movement that is not quite there, like distant stormlight caught behind glass. His skin has the warm brown tone of a field laborer, but his forearms and shoulders are webbed with faint branching scars in the shape of lightning bolts. He moves with a measured, almost lazy swagger until he is attacked, and then he becomes sudden and precise, like a dropped blade. The most unexpected thing about him is how gentle he looks when he is calm, with soft hands and an almost embarrassed smile that clashes with his towering, dangerous frame.
