Kantaki Yupan
Species
Elf
Appearance
Lith has the stillness of a hunting cat and the unsettling patience of a tree. Her copper-brown skin is marked with faint pale freckles across her shoulders, like lichen caught beneath the surface. Her jaw is narrow but strong, and her slightly pointed canine teeth show whenever she eats dried meat or laughs at something genuinely funny. Her hair is thick, black, and deliberately groomed into dozens of short braids bound with red thread, seed beads, and tiny copper rings. She moves with careful economy, placing each foot as if the forest floor were listening. The unexpected thing about her is her hands: broad-palmed, blunt-nailed, and permanently stained dark from charcoal, soil, and dragonstone dust, giving her the appearance of a patient craftswoman rather than a graceful elven warrior. People remember her first as quiet, then as watchful, and finally as someone who has already noticed every exit.
“Her voice is low, dry, and measured, with a soft mountain cadence. She rarely wastes words and places unusual emphasis on verbs, as though actions matter more than intentions.”

Distinguishing Features
Her pointed canine teeth are unusually prominent and visible when she chews, smiles, or speaks with sudden intensity.
Her tightly maintained braids are threaded with red fibers and tiny copper rings that click softly when she turns her head.
Her palms are broad and darkened by years of charcoal, soil, and Dragon Soulstone dust.
A faint violet glow sometimes gathers beneath her fingernails when Venus is frightened.
She wears a small bone whistle that produces a note only Venus and Aegis seem able to hear.
Voice
“A quiet contralto with a dry rasp at the edges, like wind passing over cedar bark. Her laughter is brief, startling, and accompanied by a flash of pointed teeth.”
Clothing
She wears layered forest-green and rust-red wool beneath a fitted breastplate lacquered to resemble dark bark. A woven sash around her waist carries small pouches of salt, seed, resin, and powdered stone. Her bracers are stitched with geometric patterns inspired by mountain terraces. One boot is reinforced for climbing, while the other is soft-soled for silent movement. A copper pendant shaped like a split dragon tooth hangs at her throat.
Body Language
Lith keeps her shoulders loose but never exposes her back. She angles her body toward Venus or a wall, rests two fingers against the Dragon Soulstone when uneasy, and tilts her chin a fraction when challenged. When she is truly amused, she covers her mouth too late, revealing pointed teeth and a rare flash of warmth.
