Aurel Vesh
Druid
Aurel Vesh
Species
Dragonborn
Appearance
Aurel Vesh is a lean dragonborn with river-green scales that look dark at a distance and luminous where the light catches the edges. His horns sweep back like the antlers of a waterbuck, but one horn has been neatly capped in polished black jade after a childhood break. His scales are smooth along the brow and neck, but rough and pebbled across his forearms, as if bark has grown over living stone. He moves with quiet precision for someone so large, always seeming to step around puddles, roots, and loose stones before they can betray him. He wears a contradiction of a life spent between temple and wilderness: a robe of woven reed fiber patched with fine silver thread, a leather belt heavy with pouches of herbs, and immaculate brass rings on clawed fingers that are often caked in mud. Even when exhausted, he smells faintly of rain on warm earth and crushed mint.
“Low and measured, with a husky resonance like wind through cattails.”

Distinguishing Features
One horn capped in polished black jade
A crescent scar across the left cheek that looks like a claw mark
A row of tiny white scale knots along the throat from a childhood fever
Brass rings on three fingers, each etched with river prayers
A charm of woven reeds and blue glass beads tied to his belt
Voice
“A warm baritone with a wet, gravelly edge, like stones turned in a stream”
Clothing
A patched reed-fiber robe over layered linen wraps, a travel cloak lined with cattail fluff for insulation, hide sandals, and a belt of herb pouches, bone vials, and prayer knots
Body Language
Stillness is his default posture, with only the tip of his tail and the pupils of his eyes betraying emotion. When focused, he folds his hands behind his back and inclines his head like a judge weighing testimony. When angry, his frill flares and his claws flex against his palms until the scales click softly.
