Sutha is a lean tiefling woman whose presence suggests a road, a locked ledger, and a storm that has not yet decided where to break. Her skin is smooth but dust-muted around the wrists and throat, as though fine road grit has permanently settled into the pores. She moves with a courier's economical balance, never quite standing still and always placing one foot where she could turn quickly. Her hands are the most memorable feature: broad-palmed, nimble, and heavily callused at the thumbs from reins, buckles, wax seals, and courier boxes. She smells faintly of pine resin, horse sweat, bitter orange peel, and lamp oil, a scent she insists is simply the smell of honest work. Her horns sweep backward like polished black ram horns, but one is wrapped in a childish strip of yellow ribbon that she refuses to remove. The contradictory impression is striking: her clothes and posture make her look hard to surprise, yet her pale amber eyes have an almost tender, perpetually worried softness.
