Appearance
A slim, energetic young woman with light olive skin and the compact musculature of someone who climbs more than she rests. Her enormous glossy brown eyes give her a gentle, almost soft expression, but they never stop measuring exits, ridgelines, and hands. Her nose and knuckles are reddened by high winds, while her rounded cheeks and small chin lend her face an unexpectedly youthful openness. Dark chestnut hair is drawn into a severe braided crown, though rebellious curls spring loose around both ears whenever she moves. She stands poised like a hunting cat, body angled toward open space, shifting her weight in quick economical adjustments rather than fidgeting. Her fingertips and palm creases are permanently stained rust-red from grinding mineral pigments. The contradiction is immediate: she looks delicate and warmly approachable, yet her hands feel like rough leather and she watches a room like a trapped animal planning its escape.
“Her voice is clear and brisk, with a mountain-country cadence. She speaks in short practical sentences, then occasionally produces an unexpectedly precise image drawn from roads, weather, or pigments.”

Distinguishing Features
Rust-red pigment permanently stains her fingertips, nail beds, and palm creases.
A single braid in her crown is tied with blue thread and never removed, even while sleeping.
Her boots have visibly mismatched repairs, one red leather and one gray felt.
She carries a copper compass that points several degrees wrong, yet she trusts it more than newer instruments.
Her eyes remain warm and inviting while her attention constantly tracks movement around her.
Voice
“A clear contralto with a brisk mountain cadence, warm when speaking to strangers and clipped when frightened. Her laugh is sudden, bright, and almost embarrassed.”
Clothing
A fitted chain shirt sits beneath a forest-green half-cloak patched at the left shoulder with blue wool. Charcoal trousers are tucked into weathered brown boots whose soles have been repaired with mismatched strips of red leather. A wine-red sash holds her scabbard and tools. A blue wool scarf is wrapped twice around her neck, and a small copper compass hangs where it can be touched but not easily seen. Her shield is plain round wood, repeatedly oiled and carefully maintained despite its battered rim.
Body Language
She keeps one shoulder subtly angled toward the nearest open route. Her hands are usually near her belt, shield strap, or compass, but never quite gripping them. When listening sincerely, she leans forward until loose curls brush her cheeks. When lying, she becomes unnaturally still.
