Namaris Odufemi
Species
Aethelgard Half-Dragon, Gold Draconic Ancestry
Appearance
Mirela is a tall, broad-shouldered half-dragon woman whose burnished brass scales deepen to antique gold along her neck, forearms, and jaw. The scales around her hands are darkened by years of furnace work, their edges polished smooth from handling tools and contracts alike. Her obsidian horns sweep back in elegant arcs, each tip capped with a thin ring of gold. She moves with the economical precision of someone accustomed to crossing catwalks above molten slag, never wasting a step or allowing her balance-staff to swing loose. A faint scent of hot copper, clove oil, and quenched stone follows her. The unexpected softness of her appearance is a narrow velvet ribbon braided through her short black hair, a childhood gift she has never removed.
“Measured and low, with crisp consonants and a warm furnace-like resonance. She speaks in complete, carefully weighted sentences, pausing before numbers, names, and promises.”

Distinguishing Features
Her swept obsidian horns are capped with delicate gold rings that she checks whenever she is thinking.
Her fingertips are permanently darkened by metallic dust, despite years of expensive restorative treatments.
A thin velvet ribbon is braided through her short hair, an incongruously gentle keepsake amid her industrial armor.
Her tail taps out measured rhythms when she is angry or calculating.
Her voice carries a faint doubled resonance, as if a furnace bell is sounding beneath every word.
Voice
“A deep contralto with a metallic undertone, calm enough to make threats sound like signed agreements.”
Clothing
Gilded forge-plate covers dark purple wool trousers, a high-collared vest, and a sleeveless longcoat reinforced with thin brass scales. Her armor bears the Goldwall seal on one shoulder and the Furnace Articles engraved along the inner bracer. She wears soot-dark gloves, copper-soled boots, and a narrow red cord around her wrist bearing a single iron bead from her mother's workshop.
Body Language
Mirela keeps her shoulders square and her hands close to her tools. She repeatedly adjusts the gold rings on her horn tips without noticing, then checks the engraved markings on her caliper with one thumb. When angry, she becomes almost motionless, while her tail begins tapping a precise rhythm against the floor.
