Kaelin Mirevein
Arcane Duelist (Fighter 3 / Warlock 2)
Kaelin Mirevein
Species
Duskwrought Human
Appearance
Kaelin moves like a coiled spring—quick, economical motions that look practiced. He dresses for movement: a charcoal overcoat cut to let a rapier slide free, sleeves cinched at the forearm, and low boots with worn soles that never announce his step. His skin is the pallid gray common among the duskwrought, with a dusky iridescence along his jaw that flashes like metal in certain light. His left ear is threaded with a thin silver ring and the lobe bears a tiny burnt sigil—an old brand he pretends is a childhood accident. His hair is cropped close at the sides and left longer on top so it falls into his eyes until he brushes it back; silver thread runs through a single braid behind his right ear. Contradiction: his hands are callused and competent, but his nails are kept impossibly clean and filed into neat points, as if he cannot bear grime on his fingertips.
“Measured, a touch sardonic; uses short metaphors drawn from seafaring and smithing. He avoids elaborate promises and favors practical, immediate barters.”

Faint, crescent-shaped burn mark on left collarbone (concealed under clothing)
Silver streak in his otherwise black hair
Small, precise brand scar on left earlobe
Silent, almost predatory step
Voice
“Low and smooth with an edge like rubbed steel; when riled it sharpens into clipped syllables.”
Clothing
A charcoal-gray tailcoat lined with hidden pockets, a sleeveless leather brigandine beneath, a dark scarf with a single thread of burnt-orange woven through it, fingerless gloves, and a weathered satchel patched in three places. He always wears a thin iron chain around his neck tucked into his shirt.
Body Language
Leans forward when listening, favors eye contact but flicks gaze toward exits when anxious, keeps one hand near his rapier or satchel.
