Lethari Aulven
Ranger 11, Herbalist, Alchemist
Lethari Aulven
Species
Hochelfe
Appearance
Lethariel is a tall, fine-boned high elf whose movements are quiet but never delicate. She walks with the measured balance of someone accustomed to wet stones, steep roots, and rooftops, placing each foot as though testing the world for hidden hollows. Her hands are stained permanently green beneath the fingernails, while her face is almost unnervingly clean and composed. A thin scar crosses the bridge of her nose, and one pointed ear has been nicked nearly flat by an old hunting trap. She smells faintly of crushed mint, lamp oil, and rain-soaked bark. The unexpected contradiction is her smile, which is broad, warm, and almost grandmotherly, despite the cold precision with which she can dissect a venomous beast or calculate the price of a dying person's last remedy.
“Her voice is low, rounded, and calm, with careful pauses that make even simple statements sound considered. She speaks Elvish with formal precision and Common with a softened northern cadence.”

Distinguishing Features
A nearly flattened right ear from an old hunting trap.
Permanent green staining beneath her fingernails.
A tiny wooden bead hidden in the left pocket of her coat.
A silver tattoo of branching roots around her left wrist, partly burned away.
Her shadow sometimes appears to have leaves growing from it when she is near powerful fey magic.
Voice
“A low, gentle alto with a softened northern cadence, like rain striking broad leaves. Her voice becomes almost toneless when she is angry, which is more alarming than shouting.”
Clothing
A deep green wool coat reinforced with waxed leather at the elbows and ribs, worn over a cream linen shirt with a high collar. She wears a divided belt of labeled vials, a weatherproof apron while working, soft-soled riding boots, and a faded blue scarf inherited from her father. Every pocket contains something useful, except one, which holds a child's wooden bead.
Body Language
Lethariel stands slightly sideways, keeping one shoulder angled toward the nearest exit. She touches her thumb to each fingertip while thinking, as if counting invisible seeds. In danger, she becomes almost perfectly still, with only her eyes moving. When genuinely pleased, she leans forward and lowers her head like a curious bird.
