Bald Kincaid
Silver-Seer, Oracle of Angles
Bald Kincaid
Species
Human
Appearance
A bald, broad-shouldered man with a full dark grey beard braided into three uneven cords. He looks like a tavern fixture that has been left too long near smoke, spilled ale, and winter damp. His skin is weathered and ruddy around the nose, but his hands are unnervingly clean and precise, with short nails and ink trapped permanently in the creases of his fingers. He moves with an apparent drunken sway, yet every stumble ends exactly where it needs to, placing him beside a wall, behind a table, or outside an opponent's reach. His beard smells faintly of juniper and lamp oil. The unexpected contradiction is his expression: his mouth often hangs slack with vacant amusement, while his eyes remain perfectly sober, measuring doors, distances, shadows, and the weight of every person in the room.
“Usually slurred, rambling, and punctuated by long pauses. When he gives a real order, his voice becomes low, clipped, and unmistakably military.”

Distinguishing Features
A dark grey beard braided into three cords, with a copper bead hidden in the lowest braid.
A pale scar runs from the crown of his bald head to the top of his right ear.
His left index finger is missing the last joint, cut off by his own order during the First War to prevent a spreading frost injury.
He has a habitually reddened nose and the unmistakable watchful eyes of a sober man.
When his foresight activates, thin silver lines briefly appear across his irises at angles like intersecting roads.
Voice
“A gravelly baritone worn rough by smoke, drink, and years of issuing orders across windy fields. His false slur is convincing, but the underlying cadence remains measured and authoritative.”
Clothing
A stained brown wool coat with one missing button, a patched linen shirt, loose charcoal trousers, and cracked riding boots. Beneath the coat he wears a concealed shirt of fine mithral links under a quilted vest. His belt carries a battered flask, a brass whistle, and six narrow silver knives disguised as cutlery.
Body Language
His shoulders sag and his knees drift apart when watched, but the instant someone threatens a weaker person, his posture locks upright. He tilts his head toward sounds before they happen, traces invisible routes on tabletops, and keeps one thumb pressed against the second knuckle of his left hand while calculating.
