In hag form, Endelyn is a tall, reed-thin crone whose joints bend with the delicate wrongness of folded puppets. Her gray-green skin has the texture of damp parchment, while her long fingers end in blunt, lacquer-black nails that click together when she thinks. A narrow wooden theater is strapped to her torso like an elaborate cage, its tiny curtains opening and closing with her breathing. Her jaw unhinges farther than it should when she eats or laughs, revealing several neat rows of small, polished teeth rather than a normal hag's irregular fangs. She moves with a dancer's careful balance, gliding over uneven stone while the puppet-stage frame creaks around her.
