Appearance
Bryn looks like a weather-beaten traveler who has walked through every season without ever quite arriving anywhere. His skin is brown and dry from wind, salt, and open skies, with fine pale lines around his mouth that resemble old map marks. His jaw is broad, and when he smiles, one blunt lower canine shows too prominently, giving his otherwise patient expression a faintly wolfish cast. His hair hangs in coarse iron-gray ropes tied with bits of colored thread, each thread representing a promise someone failed to keep. He moves with the steady, economical balance of a sailor on a deck, yet he is strangely delicate when touching small objects. He smells faintly of wet stone, crushed thyme, and extinguished hearth smoke. The unexpected thing about him is his hands: they are soft, clean, and almost childlike, despite the rest of him suggesting a lifetime of labor.
“Measured and practical, with a low voice that turns unexpectedly gentle when speaking to frightened people. He pauses before names, as if checking where each person belongs in his memory.”

Distinguishing Features
A single blunt lower canine shows whenever he smiles.
His iron-gray hair is tied with colored threads that represent broken promises.
His fingernails are unusually smooth and pale, like polished river stones.
Tiny road symbols appear in the dust near his feet even when the ground is clean.
He casts no reflection in still water, only the reflection of a road leading away.
Voice
“A low, dry baritone with the rasp of gravel under boots. When he invokes divine power, a second voice echoes beneath his own, speaking the final word of every sentence a heartbeat late.”
Clothing
A patched charcoal traveling coat over a faded green tunic, heavy trousers tucked into cracked leather boots, and a broad belt hung with keys that open no known locks. His cloak is lined with fragments of old road maps stitched together in uneven squares.
Body Language
He leans slightly forward as if listening to a distant footstep. His thumb rubs the head of his crook whenever someone lies. When pleased, he rocks once on his heels, then becomes perfectly still.
