Kor ir'Wynarn
Fighter 14, Battle Master-style Noble Commander
Kor ir'Wynarn
Species
Human
Appearance
Kor is a broad-shouldered, weathered human with the compact balance of a swordsman who has spent more time standing on unstable ground than parade floors. His face is square and severe without being handsome, framed by iron-gray hair cut close at the sides and combed forward in a deliberately ordinary style. His hands are heavily callused, but his nails are kept immaculate. He waits with his weight resting on the balls of his feet, never fully settling into a chair or leaning against a wall. Within a minute of meeting him, most people notice that he silently counts exits, windows, and armed personnel before acknowledging anyone's greeting. The unexpected contradiction is his gentleness with delicate objects: he handles tea cups, coded letters, and wounded birds with extraordinary care, as though each were more dangerous than a battlefield.
“Kor speaks in a low, measured baritone that carries without effort. He wastes few words, pauses before answering dangerous questions, and gives orders in complete sentences rather than shouted fragments.”

Distinguishing Features
A royal signet ring that he checks by touch whenever a conversation turns toward succession or treason.
A habit of counting exits and armed bodies before greeting anyone.
A faint indentation across the bridge of his nose from years of wearing a commander's visor, though he rarely wears one now.
His sword belt is worn slightly forward of regulation, allowing him to draw while seated at a council table.
He smells faintly of cedar oil, lamp smoke, and the bitter tea served in Citadel offices.
Voice
“A restrained military baritone with the dry warmth of an older brother who has spent decades giving orders he wishes he did not have to give.”
Clothing
A dark blue military coat reinforced with discreet plates of lacquered steel, worn beneath a long charcoal cloak lined in Brelish gold. The collar bears no gaudy medals, only five small enamel marks representing the Citadel's branches. His gloves are black leather with the fingertips removed on his sword hand. A plain silver crown-pin is fixed inside his collar where only someone standing very close can see it.
Body Language
Kor stands as if a floor might suddenly tilt. His shoulders remain relaxed, but his feet are always arranged for a quick pivot. He touches the signet ring on his right hand whenever someone lies, adjusts the brass clasp of his cloak when making a decision, and turns his head slightly toward distant sounds without interrupting conversation.
