Sashir Tsikla
Sorcerer, Storm-Touched Origin
Sashir Tsikla
Species
Aarakocra
Appearance
Sashir is a tall grey heron aarakocra with a long, lacquer-red beak that curves slightly downward at the tip like a polished knife. His feathers are smoke-grey along the back, pearl-white at the throat, and rust-dark beneath the wings, with the texture of weathered velvet where years of tavern smoke have settled into them. He moves with an unsettling mixture of grace and domestic awkwardness, gliding across a room one moment and bumping his hip into a table the next. He keeps his amber eyes fixed on hands, doorways, and half-empty glasses rather than faces. The unexpected thing about him is his immaculate plumage: despite working beside boiling kettles, spilled ale, and chimney soot, every feather is groomed into place, while his talon tips are permanently stained purple from berry cordial.
“His voice is low, breathy, and rasping, with soft sibilants that gather at the ends of words. He speaks Common in careful, formal phrases colored by mountain idioms, and his laughter sounds like a kettle beginning to boil.”

Distinguishing Features
A long vivid red beak with a faint vertical groove down its center.
Amber eyes that track hands, exits, and unattended drinks before they ever settle on a speaker's face.
A single white feather growing from the center of his charcoal crown, which he refuses to pluck.
Purple-stained talon tips from making berry cordial by hand.
The soft clicking sound of his beak when he is calculating whether someone is lying.
Voice
“A soft, dry baritone with a breathy rasp, like wind passing through a narrow stone cleft. He hisses gently on s and sh sounds and drops his volume rather than raising it when angry.”
Clothing
A sleeveless indigo vest reinforced with hidden leather panels, a cream linen shirt with wide cuffs, and a wine-red sash holding keys, chalk, and a small copper bell. He wears a brass neck ring engraved with mountain prayer marks and a battered apron embroidered with tiny white clouds.
Body Language
He tilts his head in precise, birdlike increments when listening, keeps one wing slightly lifted when uneasy, and uses the tip of his red beak to point at objects rather than touching them. In anger, he becomes unnaturally still, folding his wings so tightly that he resembles a carved wooden statue.
