Ilyavela Ounavai
Wizard
Ilyavela Ounavai
Species
High Elf
Appearance
Ilyavela is an extraordinarily beautiful high elf whose stillness makes beauty feel like a threat. Her face is narrow and finely boned, with a small scar cutting through her left eyebrow and a faint network of old injection marks along the inside of her wrists. She moves with deliberate economy, never wasting a gesture, yet her long sleeves and layered skirts drift a heartbeat after she stops, as if caught in an invisible current. Her skin has the cool translucence of polished ivory, but her fingertips are permanently stained a muted violet from alchemical reagents. The unexpected contradiction is her smile, which is warm, almost maternal, while her stern eyes remain utterly watchful and unsoftened.
“Her voice is low, clear, and carefully paced, with vowels drawn gently through a northern cadence. She sounds most affectionate when delivering an ultimatum.”

Distinguishing Features
A fine scar through the left eyebrow.
Violet-stained fingertips from alchemical work.
A faint smell of crushed juniper, iron, and wintergreen.
Her reflection sometimes blinks a moment after she does due to a failed illusion experiment.
A small brass locket containing a lock of her dead brother's hair.
Voice
“Low, clear, and unhurried, with a soft northern resonance that becomes almost musical when she discusses magic.”
Clothing
A high-collared teal gown of heavy silk beneath a sleeveless charcoal over-robe, both sewn with pale geometric embroidery resembling snow crystals and river reeds. She wears soft leather boots, silver finger caps for handling reagents, and a belt of sealed glass ampoules disguised as perfume bottles.
Body Language
Her posture is perfectly upright, but she angles her body slightly toward every exit. She touches her left eyebrow when lying, smooths the cuff of her right sleeve before giving an order, and watches hands more closely than faces.
