Shesh Adeywyn
Warlock, Fiend Patron
Shesh Adeywyn
Species
Tiefling
Appearance
A lean tiefling whose movements are quiet, economical, and almost maritime, as though he is always compensating for a deck tilting beneath his feet. His skin is a deep russet brown with a satin sheen from years of salt air, lamp oil, and careful grooming. Small pale speckles gather across his shoulders and the bridge of his nose like dried sea spray. Two swept-back horns rise from his temples, ridged like old ivory and polished at the tips until they catch lamplight. His long tail is unusually expressive, curling around chair legs during negotiations and going perfectly still when he lies. His eyes rarely settle on the person speaking. Instead, they track exits, hands, windows, and the reflections in polished objects. He wears an immaculate smile with one chipped canine that gives his refinement a faintly feral contradiction. His presence leaves the impression of a well-mannered solicitor who might know exactly how to bury a body at sea.
“His voice is low, breathy, and carefully paced, with soft sibilants that make even blunt statements sound confidential. He speaks in polished Common colored by clipped dockside slang and occasional Welsh-like cadence.”

Distinguishing Features
His horns are polished at the tips but stained with blue ink near the roots from years of handling contracts.
His tail coils around nearby objects whenever he is withholding an important truth.
He wears a small brass ship whistle on a cord beneath his shirt and touches it before entering unfamiliar rooms.
He has a chipped canine that shows only when he laughs sincerely.
He smells faintly of rain on stone, clove oil, and extinguished candles.
Voice
“A soft, sandpapered baritone with a faint coastal lilt, as though every sentence has traveled through fog before reaching the listener.”
Clothing
A dark teal waistcoat beneath a weatherproof charcoal coat, both cut with understated elegance. His cuffs are fastened with mismatched brass buttons taken from ships he helped salvage. He wears soft leather boots, a red silk neckcloth, and a belt of flat brass tokens stamped with forgotten merchant marks.
Body Language
He sits angled toward the nearest exit, keeps one hand resting lightly on his cane, and uses his tail as a silent punctuation mark. His posture is relaxed until someone mentions debt, drowning, or the name Uth Sabar, at which point every joint seems to lock.
