Aegis-Core 01
Species
Tectonic Forged, Star-Sand Calibrated
Appearance
Aegis-Core 01 stands like a piece of the mountain taught to walk, constructed from dense sea-polished basalt whose dark surface carries faint green mineral veining. Copper-bound joints flex with the slow precision of a drawbridge mechanism, each movement producing a soft sequence of clicks, scrapes, and settling weight. Behind a thick leaded-glass plate in his chest, a radiant amber Star-Sand core pulses with the measured rhythm of a warning beacon. His shoulders are broad enough to brace against the Veiled Brass Seat's bronze blast gates, yet his hands are delicately articulated, capable of turning a page without tearing it. The contradiction is immediate: he looks built to crush siege engines, but keeps his armor polished to an almost fussy shine and handles small brass prayer tokens with extraordinary care.
“Low, resonant, and measured, with each word carrying a faint metallic aftertone. His voice resembles a distant forge hammer heard through thick stone.”

Distinguishing Features
A radiant amber Star-Sand core glows behind thick leaded glass in his chest.
His basalt armor is sea-polished rather than rough-hewn, giving his dark body a muted satin sheen.
The copper at his joints is engraved with tiny repeating door motifs, each one different.
He habitually braces one foot against nearby architecture while standing guard.
His left palm bears a permanent circular indentation used to synchronize with the Veiled Brass Seat's bronze blast gates.
Voice
“A deep, controlled baritone with a forge-like resonance, precise enough to make ordinary conversation feel like an official judgment”
Clothing
A sleeveless blackened-bronze harness fitted over his basalt torso, marked with the geometric seal of the Veiled Brass Seat. Copper prayer wires loop from his collar to his wrists, and a narrow crimson sash hangs from his left hip, kept immaculate despite the soot and furnace grit around him.
Body Language
Aegis-Core 01 rarely gestures above waist height. When attentive, he angles his chest core toward the speaker and becomes utterly still except for minute adjustments in his feet. When suspicious, his fingers open and close once, producing a dry metallic tick. When angered, he does not raise his voice or posture. He simply lowers his center of gravity until the floor seems to notice him.
