Aurelyth Vael
Fighter
Aurelyth Vael
Species
Elf
Appearance
Aurelyth Vael grows strikingly still before she moves, like a drawn bowstring waiting for release. Her skin is pale ivory with a faint pearly sheen, as though moonlight has settled under it, and her long gray hair is thin, wind-filigreed, and usually braided with black feather tips that tremble when she turns her head. One of her eyes is silver-green and sharp as flint, while the other is clouded by a narrow milky scar across the iris, giving her gaze an unsettling mismatched calm. She wears practical hunter's leather over a faded ceremonial sash of white silk, neatly mended with green thread in places where the old noble embroidery was burned away. Her body is lean and professional rather than delicate, all tendon and balance, and she walks with the quiet, measured glide of someone who has spent years stalking both prey and memory. The contradictory detail is her left glove, which is stitched with tiny bells that never ring unless she lies.
“Soft, deliberate, and exact, with a faint old-forest cadence. She names places carefully, as if every location still has a memory and every memory can be wounded.”

A pale scar crosses her right eye and leaves the iris clouded
Her left glove carries tiny stitched bells that stay silent unless she lies
A crescent-shaped burn mark on her collarbone from the fall of the shrine lantern
Her bow is wrapped in blackened white birch bark instead of leather

Clothing
Well-oiled forest leathers, a white silk sash with scorched embroidery, fingerless gloves, knee-high boots wrapped in dark cloth, and a weatherproof cloak lined with ash-gray fur
Body Language
Controlled and economical, with almost no wasted motion. When listening, she tilts her head slightly and keeps one hand near her bow without gripping it. In moments of suspicion, her shoulders square and her fingers tap once against her wrist guard before she speaks.
