Wall-Gecko Korvath
Species
Brass Dragonborn
Appearance
Wall-Gecko Korvath is an elderly brass dragonborn whose scales have dulled from bright furnace-gold to weathered shades of ochre, brown, and tarnished bronze. His scales are heavily scarred by old blade cuts, ritual brands, and the abrasion of decades spent in armor, but none of the marks form a theatrical facial wound. His deep-set amber eyes remain unnervingly alert, measuring every speaker as though weighing testimony. He moves with a slow, wall-hugging gait, favoring his left side and keeping one hand close to the nearest pillar, bench, or doorframe. Then, without warning, he can cross a chamber with startling military speed. His blunt teeth are unusually square and pale, and when he eats he carefully removes every shred of food from between them with a tiny brass pick. His contradictory feature is his laugh: a soft, delighted chuckle that makes him seem almost kindly, despite the merciless verdicts that often follow it. He leaves behind the impression of a weathered monument that has learned to walk.
“Measured, gravelly, and resonant, with every sentence delivered as if entered into a permanent record. He rarely uses contractions and never says 'maybe' when he means 'insufficient evidence.”

Distinguishing Features
A gravelly, resonant voice that sounds exactly like stones pouring into a bronze bowl.
He favors his left side and moves with a slow wall-hugging gait until sudden military bursts of speed reveal his retained discipline.
His square, pale teeth are conspicuous when he laughs or meticulously cleans them after meals.
His garnet chain of office is deliberately unpolished, despite the rest of his ceremonial metalwork being immaculate.
He smells faintly of hot dust, lamp oil, and old parchment.
Voice
“A low, stony rumble with a bronze resonance, like gravel poured into a ceremonial bowl. Even a whisper carries across the Circular Hearing Chamber.”
Clothing
Flowing judicial robes of deep crimson wool, their hems darkened by dust from the bastion floors, worn over polished brass scale armor. A heavy iron-linked chain of office hangs across his chest and bears an unpolished garnet. His gloves are black leather reinforced with brass knuckles, and his belt carries a ring of numbered evidence tags.
Body Language
Korvath stands nearly motionless while others speak, with his shoulders squared toward the strongest source of light. His left foot remains slightly behind his right, as if braced against a shove. He touches nearby masonry whenever entering an unfamiliar room. During a verdict, he lifts the gavel only a few inches, treating the smallest movement as sufficient authority.
