Brek is a narrow-shouldered goblin with long wrists, quick hands, and a permanently crooked posture from years spent leaning over grinding bowls. Their movements are economical until startled, when they unfold with startling speed like a pocketknife snapping open. Their face is dusted with pale green freckles that are actually old flecks of dried herb resin. One lower canine is polished smooth from years of chewing bitterroot, while the rest of their teeth are sharp and uneven. They smell of crushed mint, wet stone, and lamp smoke. The unexpected contradiction is their immaculate hands, scrubbed clean beneath the nails, despite the stains and clutter surrounding them.
