Rogue, Cinderfang Infiltrator
Tzhruk Qharshek
Species
Young Red Dragon
Appearance
A lean young red dragon with the compact, restless proportions of a creature that learned to survive in tunnels before it learned to fly. His scales are brick red along the spine, ember orange beneath the jaw, and darkened at the joints as though soot has settled permanently into the seams. Several scales around his neck are unusually small and fine, remnants of the kobold body he once had. He moves with abrupt, economical precision, keeping his head low and his wings folded tight until the instant he strikes. His breath smells of hot iron, cinnamon bark, and damp cave stone. He knows the iron scent, but remains unaware that the cinnamon comes from the little prayer bundles his kobolds burn in his honor. The contradictory impression is immediate: his body is enormous and predatory, yet he still pauses before every threshold as if asking permission to enter.
“His voice begins with a dry throat-click and a furnace-deep inhale. He speaks in controlled, almost courteous Draconic, but words become clipped and high-pitched when his old kobold instincts surface.”

Distinguishing Features
A line of tiny bronze bells beneath his left wing, each bearing the name of a dead Rotschuppen ancestor
A habit of pressing his lower jaw against stone to feel distant footsteps through the rock
A forked lower horn wrapped in blue cave-cloth from his former kobold clan banner
His breath carries the unexpected scent of cinnamon and hot iron
He still uses kobold hand signs while speaking Draconic, often without realizing it
Voice
“A low furnace rumble threaded with a dry kobold rasp, punctuated by throat-clicks and the faint metallic tremble of bells beneath his wing”
Clothing
A harness of blackened bronze plates fitted across his chest and shoulders, linked by thick red cords. Tiny bronze bells hang beneath his left wing, each bell engraved with the name of a Rotschuppen ancestor. Around one horn is tied a faded strip of blue cave-cloth from his original kobold clan banner.
Body Language
His claws tap in groups of three when he is thinking. His tail curls protectively around nearby kobolds during danger, even when he is pretending not to care. When angered, he lowers his wings rather than spreading them, making himself look smaller and more concentrated, like a furnace sealed before detonation.
