Sorcerer Vaelith Embermere

Appearance
Sorcerer looks as if they stepped out of a festival bonfire and into a temple at the same time. Their form is graceful but slightly unstable, like a candle flame trying to imitate a person. Their skin seems to hold a faint inner glow beneath a surface that resembles polished moonstone dusted with ash. When they move, their sleeves and trailing ribbons lag half a heartbeat behind, as though reality is deciding whether to keep up. One eye shines like molten amber, the other like a deep storm pool, and their smile is warm enough to invite trust while their posture suggests they might vanish into a miracle or a mess at any moment. The most surprising thing about them is a pair of plain, mud-splattered traveler boots, comically ordinary against the rest of their divine radiance.
“Fast, lyrical, and full of half-finished metaphors. Sorcerer speaks like someone tossing bright objects into the air just to see what catches the light, but their tone can become velvet-soft and devastatingly sincere in an instant.”

Distinguishing Features
One hand is always slightly warm, like a candle held behind the skin
Their shadow occasionally smiles a fraction of a second before they do
Tiny star-shaped scars orbit their left collarbone like a private constellation
Their laughter sometimes rings with two different voices, one young and one ancient
Voice
“Bright, warm, and slightly echoing, as if two campfires were talking over one another. When amused, their words dance. When angry, they go very quiet and very precise.”
Clothing
Layered ceremonial traveler clothing in deep indigo and ember red, stitched with tiny mirrored beads, a half-torn cloak lined with constellations, and simple boots that are always dusty no matter where they walk. They wear a belt of charm-knots, spare candles, a silvered coin pouch, and a bright sash that looks like it was borrowed from a stage troupe.
Body Language
Restless and theatrical, with sudden pauses that make them seem to listen to invisible footfalls. They tilt their head toward distant sounds, tap two fingers against their wrist before speaking, and often stand too close when trying to be kind. In moments of fear, their fingers curl as if holding an absent flame.
