Appearance
Mikheil stands with the narrow, careful posture of someone trained to be watched. His black hair is cut in a severe pageboy, falling in a straight, heavy fringe just above his brows and curling inward around his jaw. The ends are always damp from the scented oil he applies before services. His face is youthful and finely boned, but sleepless hollows sit beneath his eyes, and a pale scar divides the left eyebrow like a tiny white stitch. His movements are quiet and economical until someone insults the helpless, at which point his stillness becomes startlingly violent, like a door slammed by a gust. He gives the contradictory impression of a sheltered boy who has already buried too many people.
“Quiet and carefully enunciated, with a mountain cadence that makes ordinary statements sound like formal blessings. His voice rises only when he is trying not to cry.”

Distinguishing Features
A pale scar cuts through his left eyebrow.
His pageboy haircut is unnervingly exact, with one stubborn lock that always turns outward.
The gold braid on his cassock bears tiny dark stains that will not wash out.
He wears a brass ring engraved with the names of people he failed to save.
His hands smell faintly of myrrh, lamp oil, and iron despite frequent washing.
Voice
“A soft, dry baritone with a slight rasp, like a bell heard through snowfall.”
Clothing
A plain black wool cassock reaches his ankles, edged with narrow gold braid that has begun to fray at the cuffs. Beneath it he wears a gray linen shirt, a braided belt carrying a small censer, and soft leather shoes made for silent movement. His gold trim is visibly too fine for his station, a remnant of a ceremonial vestment cut down by hand.
Body Language
He keeps his elbows close, fingers folded over his staff, and chin slightly lowered. When lying, he polishes the same brass ring with his thumb. When angry, he stops blinking and stands perfectly straight.
