Krumthar Fenheart
Barbarian
Krumthar Fenheart
Species
Golem - Mud
Appearance
Short and squat—no more than four feet tall—but densely packed with layered silt and clay. His surface looks wet in some lights, matte in others: streaks of glossy river-silt run like veins over a core of sun-baked ochre. Where joints meet, braided reeds and thin strips of leather (now petrified) form crude tendons. When he moves he rocks like a child's dinghy: awkward, heavily weighted steps that nevertheless finish with tiny, precise shifts of balance. Unexpectedly, his right shoulder bears a neat band of polished black obsidian embedded flush with the mud, as if someone placed a jewel into him and someone else—patiently—polished it nightly. The obsidian glints like an eye but does not glow.
“Produces low guttural noises and single-word approximations; capable of mimicry of simple phrases learned from Lira and the children (e.g.”

Distinguishing Features
Polished obsidian inlaid on his right shoulder that is unnaturally smooth
Shallow carved sigils of warding along his chest—half-obliterated glyphs filled with silt
A small pocket-shaped hollow in his abdomen where he hoards found trinkets
Mud that seems to drip, then not—surface tension that fools the eye
Voice
“Low, wet, gravelly rumble—more like displaced water than a voice; any words are clipped and echo with a hollow, earthen timbre.”
Clothing
None; a ring of woven reeds is embedded across his left shoulder like a petrified sash
Body Language
Slow, rocking shifts; when attentive he leans his whole torso forward; when calm he squats, arranging pebbles; when enraged he stomps in a rolling, wave-like motion.
