Ilyana Mossglow
Druidic Herbalist
Ilyana Mossglow
Species
Wood Elf
Appearance
Ilyana is a tall, willow-limbed wood elf who seems to have been gently bent by years of leaning over mortar bowls, drying racks, and garden beds. Her skin is pale gold with a faint green undertone at the wrists and throat, as if moonlight has soaked into her from the inside. Long moss-brown hair falls in loose ropes down her back, braided with seed pearls, copper leaf clasps, and the occasional dried blossom. Her eyes are a sharp, luminous hazel ringed in gold, but one iris is clouded with a milky scar that catches the light like frost. She moves with quiet, precise grace, yet her hands are rough, nicked, and stained with herb resin. The contradiction that people remember most is her scent: fresh rain and crushed mint mixed with a trace of old smoke from a fire she will never explain.
“Low, even, and precise, with a forest lilt that softens at the ends of sentences. She uses apothecary terms as metaphors, calling a problem a fever, a person a delicate tincture, and a lie a poor fermentation.”

Distinguishing Features
A milky scar over the left eye that glows faintly green in moonlight.
A copper gauntlet etched with root spirals.
Hands stained permanently with herb dye and resin.
Tiny leaf-shaped freckles scattered across her collarbones.
Her apothecary satchel is stitched from deerskin and lined with spell-dried moss.
Voice
“Warm, low, and reed-smooth, with a faint rustle at the edges like leaves moving in a breeze.”
Clothing
Layered forest-green robes over a practical linen apron, a belt of corked vials and bone spoons, soft travel boots, and a cloak lined with dried leaves that rustle faintly when she turns. She wears one polished copper gauntlet on her scarred left hand, both as a tool and as a reminder.
Body Language
She stands very still when listening, with her head slightly tilted and her fingers resting on the neck of an unseen bottle. In conversation she makes small, exact gestures, as though measuring invisible ingredients in the air. When she is suspicious, her shoulders draw back and her gaze goes distant, tracking exits and windows rather than faces. When pleased, she smiles with one side of her mouth first, like a seed cracking open.
