Nkiru is a young tiefling woman with dusky plum-brown skin, feline ears, a narrow catlike nose, and two small ivory fangs that show whenever she smiles. Her bright golden-red eyes seem to contain a coal at the center of each iris. A thin tail curls behind her with restless, expressive movements, tapping out impatience against walls and chair legs. Her black hair is cropped unevenly around her jaw, with one stubborn tuft always standing upright. She moves with a spring-loaded crouch even when walking upright, as if every floorboard might suddenly become a branch. Despite her wild, mischievous appearance, she keeps her face remarkably still when frightened, becoming eerily statue-like while her tail gives her away. She leaves behind the impression of a half-tamed alley cat that has learned exactly how much trouble a smile can cause.
