Mira Hedd
Species
Tiefling
Appearance
Mira is a young tiefling woman with a narrow feline face, high cheekbones, a small pointed chin, and two neat little fangs that show whenever she smiles. Her dark dusky-blue skin has a soft, matte texture like river stone after rain, interrupted by faint freckles of pale blue across her nose and shoulders. Bright blue eyes shine beneath long black lashes, with pupils that narrow dramatically in strong light. Two elegant, smooth black horns sweep back from her temples in shallow arcs, polished by years of absent-minded touching. Her movements are quick, silent, and slightly theatrical, with the prowling balance of a cat and the restless energy of a child who has just thought of a prank. She is dressed in worn but carefully mended frontier clothes, and her whole appearance suggests a penniless traveler trying very hard to look respectable. The contradiction is that her mischievous face and playful posture conceal a startlingly solemn stillness whenever anyone mentions fire.
“Quick, low, and amused, with a rough frontier cadence. Mira speaks as though every sentence is a secret being shared across a crowded room.”

Distinguishing Features
Two smooth black horns swept backward like lacquered crescent branches
Bright blue eyes with unusually narrow pupils
Small upper fangs visible when she grins
A pale blue crescent-shaped birthmark beneath her left eye
Fingertips that briefly glow blue when she is embarrassed or startled
A faint smell of cold metal and rain around her after casting
Voice
“A warm contralto with a dry rasp at the edges, like someone who learned to sing over wagon wheels and wind. Her voice becomes almost inaudibly soft when she is sincere.”
Clothing
A faded indigo work shirt with rolled sleeves, a brown waistcoat patched at the elbows, charcoal trousers tucked into scuffed ankle boots, and a dull red scarf repaired with several different shades of thread. Every garment is worn thin but meticulously clean. She carries no visible weapon and wears almost no adornment beyond a plain iron button sewn inside her cuff.
Body Language
Mira rarely stands squarely. She usually rests on the balls of her feet, angles one shoulder toward the door, and watches hands rather than faces. Her tail, if present in the chosen tiefling depiction, flicks sharply when she lies. When pleased, she leans too close. When ashamed, she folds her arms around herself and rubs one horn with her thumb.
