Level 4·Male·Medium
Neutral Good

Species

Half-Elf (Riverbourne Kin)

Appearance

Corin carries the restless poise of someone used to moving between places that don't want him. He favors narrow, quick steps and an almost sideways tilt of his shoulders when passing through crowded streets, as if always sliding out of someone's reach. His face is long and finely boned with a half-elf slant to the cheekbones; a thin white scar forks through his left eyebrow and down into a knot of tiny puckered marks at his temple—remnants of a river-rafting accident. He keeps one sleeve permanently cuffed up to reveal a tattooed map of impossible waterways that glows faintly in damp weather. Unexpectedly, his left hand is always stained with ash from his pastime carving tiny wooden birds, a messy but oddly affectionate hobby for a man whose movements are otherwise precise.

Height5'11"
BuildLean, wiry, with compact muscle and long, deceptive reach
EyesGrey-green, like river water after a storm
HairDark brown with a single streak of silver at the temple
SkinOlive with a smattering of sun freckles along nose and forearms

Quick, clipped sentences; uses measured humor to defuse tension. He sprinkles river metaphors into his speech and often answers a question with a question about the listener’s motives.”

Distinguishing Features

Forked white scar through left eyebrow

Tattooed map of waterways running down forearm

Ash-stained fingertips

Single silver streak of hair at the temple

Voice

Even, slightly husky with a cadence that quickens when excited; softens when rare sincerity appears.

Clothing

A smoked-leather jacket lined with pockets, a weathered green scarf that hides his throat, fitted dark trousers, soft-soled boots worn smooth in the same spot on the outer edges. He often wears a thumb-ring of hammered copper engraved with a tiny bird in flight.

Body Language

Keeps his weight on the balls of his feet, hands are never idle (often touching scarf or counting knots), nods briefly rather than full gestures, and watches mouths more than eyes.
