Sereia Qamaru
Greater Goddess, Outsider Sovereign
Sereia Qamaru
Species
Outsider
Appearance
Sereia looks like a woman shaped from moonlit water, warm skin, and carefully arranged devotion. She carries herself as though every room has been built around the exact place where she intends to stand, and people instinctively make space for her before realizing they have moved. Her gaze rarely rests on faces. It travels to hands, doorways, abandoned cups, wedding rings, trembling knees, and the objects people touch when they are afraid. Her movements are slow and ceremonious until someone mentions her beloved mortal, at which point she can cross a room with startling, predatory speed. The contradictory impression she leaves is both intimate and immense: she speaks to strangers as if they are old friends, yet her presence makes them feel like guests in a private temple.
“Her voice is low, intimate, and beautifully controlled, with flowing vowels and a gentle undercurrent of Levantine and steppe cadence. She rarely raises it.”

Distinguishing Features
Her shadow sometimes contains a second figure holding her hand, though no one else is standing there.
She wears dozens of tiny silver vow-discs, and each one produces a different soft chime when touched.
She never looks at a person's face first. She studies what they protect, hide, or reach for.
The air near her smells faintly of rain on dust and expensive rosewater, even in sealed rooms.
Voice
“A low contralto softened by deliberate tenderness, with a clear musical resonance that becomes almost conversational when delivering threats. Her laughter is warm, genuine, and followed by a pause long enough to make everyone wonder what she has remembered.”
Clothing
A layered robe of deep teal, wine-red, and cream silk, fastened with silver discs engraved with tiny personal vows. A broad sash carries prayer cords, sealed letters, and small tokens taken from people who asked her for help. Her veil is worn around her shoulders rather than over her face, and its embroidered constellations shift when she is jealous.
Body Language
Sereia stands too close without seeming to crowd anyone, often angling her body so no person in the room is outside her peripheral vision. She touches objects rather than people, especially cups, doorframes, prayer cords, and letters. When pleased, she tilts her head and smiles with alarming patience. When furious, she becomes perfectly still except for one finger tracing a slow circle against her palm.
