Mzeki Gvantsa
Monk
Mzeki Gvantsa
Species
Half-Elf
Appearance
Mzeki is a compact, striking half-elf woman whose beauty is softened by evidence of a hard life. Her face is narrow and warm-brown, with a small cleft in her chin and a pale scar that begins beneath her left ear and disappears into her collar. Her movements are economical and nearly silent, but when she relaxes she has an unexpectedly springy walk, like someone accustomed to crossing rooftops rather than roads. Old scars ladder both forearms, one shoulder, and the right side of her ribs. A puckered burn marks the center of her palm. Her smile is quick, crooked, and startlingly young, a contradiction to the ancient patience in her eyes. She leaves behind the impression of a candle flame sheltered by two hands, small, fierce, and impossible to extinguish.
“Her speech is low, economical, and carefully paced. She has a faint musical lilt shaped by caravan dialects and coastal trade languages.”

Distinguishing Features
A pale scar curves from beneath her left ear into her collarbone.
The fingers of her left hand are stained permanently dark from years of handling lampblack and poison antidotes.
Her pointed ears are pierced with mismatched copper rings made from old curtain hooks.
She has a tiny crescent-shaped bite scar on her lower lip.
Her eyes are dark hazel with a faint green ring around the pupils, giving them a watchful, lantern-lit appearance.
Voice
“A quiet contralto with a dry rasp at the edges, like cloth drawn over wood. When she whispers, people lean closer without realizing they have obeyed her.”
Clothing
She wears sleeveless charcoal traveling robes tied with a faded ochre sash, loose enough for kicks and climbing. Her forearms remain bare despite the cold, wrapped in soft linen strips marked with old reddish-brown stains. A weatherproof indigo cloak hangs from one shoulder and can be pulled around her body without trapping her arms. Her sandals are reinforced with thin leather soles, and tiny hidden pockets are sewn into the robe seams.
Body Language
She keeps her hands loose and visible in conversation, but her weight is always balanced over the balls of her feet. When someone lies, one of her shoulders settles a fraction lower. She tilts her head toward distant sounds before anyone else notices them. In darkness, her posture becomes more relaxed, almost peaceful.
