Miremba Suyana
Monk
Miremba Suyana
Species
Half-Elf
Appearance
Miremba is an exotic, striking half-elf whose youthful features contrast sharply with the exhausted gravity in her eyes. Her face is narrow and heart-shaped, with high cheekbones, a small scar cutting through her left eyebrow, and a faint crescent scar beneath her lower lip. Her skin has the deep copper-brown tone of sun-warmed clay, but old pale scars ladder across her ribs and left shoulder. Her movements are compact and economical, with no wasted sway. She walks as though every floorboard has already betrayed someone. Her beauty is softened by an unexpected contradiction: she has the delicate, almost ceremonial hands of a calligrapher, yet her knuckles are thickened and split from years of brutal training. In darkness, she seems less like someone standing in a room than a darker shape the room has grown around.
“Her speech is quiet, deliberate, and lightly musical, with vowels drawn out when she is tired. She rarely raises her voice.”

Distinguishing Features
A pale crescent scar beneath her lower lip
A line of old burn scars across her left shoulder and upper ribs
Long tapered ears partly hidden beneath tightly braided hair
A bronze bead sewn into her sash that she touches whenever she lies
Her shadow appears to lag half a heartbeat behind her movements in flickering light, a purely visual custom feature with no mechanical effect
Voice
“A low, clear contralto with a soft rasp from old smoke damage. Her voice can sound soothing when she is giving directions and almost weightless when she is threatening someone.”
Clothing
She wears sleeveless charcoal robes split at the sides for movement, secured with a rust-red sash embroidered in repeating geometric patterns inspired by highland weaving. A weather-stained traveling cloak hangs from one shoulder and can be wrapped tightly around her body or spread to break up her silhouette. Her feet are wrapped in soft leather bindings, and she wears no visible jewelry except a small bronze bead sewn into her sash.
Body Language
Miremba keeps her weight balanced over the balls of her feet, even while seated. Her hands are usually hidden within her sleeves, where her fingers silently rehearse defensive forms. She tilts her head toward faint sounds before turning her eyes. When someone earns her trust, she allows her shoulders to lower, revealing how much tension she carries.
