Savaq Mikelad
Rogue, Inquisitive
Savaq Mikelad
Species
Elf
Appearance
A narrow, long-limbed elf with the weathered hands of a river pilot and the careful posture of a courtier. His olive-brown skin is roughened across the knuckles and forearms by years of salt, rope, and winter rain, while his face remains unexpectedly smooth and almost boyish. He moves as if every floorboard has a current beneath it, never quite stepping where observers expect. In a crowded room he occupies less physical space than his height suggests, yet people unconsciously turn toward him when he stops moving. His most contradictory feature is his smile: broad, warm, and openly delighted, even when he is lying with professional precision.
“His voice is low, dry, and musical, with clipped harbor phrasing softened by long vowels from his family's mountain dialect. He speaks quickly when joking and painfully slowly when offering a warning.”

Distinguishing Features
A small silver bead is braided into the hair behind his left ear, and he touches it whenever someone mentions family.
His fingertips are permanently darkened by lampblack and brass polish.
He wears one soft glove on his right hand, not to hide an injury but to keep his lockpicks warm in cold weather.
His clothing smells faintly of rain, crushed mint, and old cedar.
He has an unusually bright, generous smile that conflicts with his habit of cataloguing everyone's weaknesses.
Voice
“A warm baritone with a faint rasp, like pebbles shifting under shallow water”
Clothing
A charcoal wool coat fastened with mismatched brass toggles, a wine-red sash holding hidden tools, soft sea-green trousers, and supple boots wrapped at the ankle with faded blue cloth. His cuffs are embroidered with tiny geometric mountain patterns that look decorative until viewed upside down.
Body Language
He leans slightly forward when listening, as though receiving news through wind. His hands are almost always occupied with a coin, thread, clasp, or folded scrap of paper. When he lies, he becomes perfectly still. When he tells the truth, one heel begins tapping an irregular rhythm.
