Kuz-Grä Stormhand
Barbarian/Monk
Kuz-Grä Stormhand
Species
Half-Orc
Appearance
Kuz-Grä Stormhand is a broad-shouldered half-orc with the compact power of a basalt statue and the restless grace of a hawk in a gale. His skin is deep olive gray, weathered by years of rain, sparring sweat, and ceremonial ash rubbed into the scars on his forearms. A single white streak cuts through his coarse black hair, which he keeps tied back with a strip of storm-blue silk that never seems to dry even in sunlight. One tusk is chipped clean in a duel long ago, and the broken edge gives his grin a crooked, almost boyish charm. He wears wrapped fists, prayer beads of polished river stone, and a sleeveless coat of layered gray cloth that looks plain until it catches the wind, when the inner lining flashes like summer lightning. Unexpectedly, he keeps one sleeve sewn with delicate gold thread and tiny embroidered cranes, a soft, elegant contradiction to his bruised and thunderous presence. He moves with measured stillness between bursts of explosive motion, as if every step is being tested against an invisible storm.
“Low, clipped, and steady, with an edge like thunder held behind a mountain. He speaks plainly, uses fighter's shorthand, and rarely wastes words on ornament unless he is reciting a vow or comforting someone in pain.”

Distinguishing Features
A lightning-bolt scar across his left ribs that glows faintly during storms
A chipped tusk and a gold cap on the other, both reminders of older duels
A sleeve embroidered with cranes, absurdly delicate against his brutal frame
Prayer beads made from stones taken from defeated opponents who fought honorably
A habit of smelling faintly of rain even in dry weather
Voice
“A thunderhead growl softened by patience, with occasional warmth that appears only when he speaks to the wounded or the worthy.”
Clothing
Layered storm-gray wraps, a sleeveless training coat lined in cobalt silk, prayer cords of stone beads, hand wraps stained with chalk and incense, and a belt carrying arena keys, match tokens, and a bronze whistle
Body Language
He stands with loose knees and relaxed shoulders, but every finger seems ready to strike or catch a falling body. In conversation he listens with his chin lowered and eyes lifted, giving the sense of a bull quietly studying the weather. When pleased, he rolls one shoulder and exhales through his nose like distant thunder. When threatened, his feet become nearly silent and his hands open rather than clench.
