Brakzun Veyr
Fighter, Rune Knight
Brakzun Veyr
Species
Tectonic Forged, Star-Sand Calibrated
Appearance
Aegis-Seven is carved from dense white granite veined with faint gray mineral lines, their surface polished smooth across the chest and shoulders but roughened around the knuckles, elbows, and boot-stones by decades of guarding iron doors. Gilded copper runes lie inset beneath the stone like narrow channels of captured sunlight, brightening whenever hostile magic comes near. Their steady chest core shines radiant yellow through a circular aperture, and the light pulses more quickly when they detect a lie. A broad iron key-ring hangs from their belt, its largest key worn almost silver where generations of temple clerks have touched it. Aegis-Seven moves with deliberate, monumental precision, yet their head turns with startling birdlike quickness whenever a whisper carries across the hall. The contradiction is unsettling: they look like a statue built to outlast empires, but their hands constantly make tiny, careful adjustments to nearby objects, straightening scrolls, aligning candles, and nudging fallen dust back into the cracks of the threshold.
“Low, measured, and resonant, like stone plates settling under pressure. They pronounce every name carefully and leave deliberate silences between important statements.”

Distinguishing Features
A radiant-yellow Star-Sand core pulses visibly beneath the sternum.
Three copper rune channels run from the left forearm into the palm, glowing whenever hostile magic is detected.
The knuckles are worn to pale, chalky facets from a lifetime of bracing against vault doors and collapsing masonry.
A large iron key on their belt has been polished nearly silver by constant contact with their right hand.
Their head turns with sudden, precise speed despite the otherwise monumental slowness of their movements.
Voice
“A deep, dry voice with a faint metallic overtone, as if every word passes through a copper tube before becoming sound.”
Clothing
A sleeveless black-and-crimson temple tabard hangs over fitted scale armor of lacquered basalt and copper. A heavy oath-cord is tied around their upper left arm, its salt-stiff fibers darkened by years of ash and handling. Their belt carries the High Chancellery key-ring, a sealed wax tube, and a narrow strip of white cloth used to wipe dust from the threshold.
Body Language
They stand with both feet planted exactly parallel to the vault threshold, shoulders squared and hands resting loosely near the maul. Their head tilts a few degrees when listening. During suspicion, their chest core narrows to a hard yellow point, and one stone thumb rubs repeatedly over the worn key-ring.
