Krrk Coil-Eye is a small red-scaled kobold with a narrow, pear-shaped torso and unusually long forearms. His scales are matte near the shoulders, but polished almost black along the knuckles and tail-tip from years of handling tools, ledgers, and hot ritual fittings. He moves with a peculiar three-part rhythm: two quick steps, a pause, then one sideways step that places him just outside another person's reach. His wire-mesh goggles magnify his amber eyes, making every glance seem accusatory. He rarely looks at faces first. He studies boots, cuffs, fingernails, door hinges, and the dust beneath furniture. The unexpected softness of his appearance comes from a tiny blue wool ribbon tied around one horn, carefully washed and mended despite the soot covering everything else.
